STUDY GUIDE FOR US CITIZENSHIP TEST
To be eligible for naturalization, you must be able to read, write, and speak basic English. You must also have a basic knowledge of U.S. history and government. The questions on our sample test questions page are examples of questions an CIS officer may ask you at your interview. You must know the correct answers to all these questions. The sentences in the last section are examples of the types of sentences a CIS officer may ask you to read aloud or write during your interview. You must practise reading and writing before you go to the interview.
